Cookie Notice
Last updated 28 July 2026.
This notice explains what we store on your device and why. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. Our position
We set as little as we can. There are no advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers, and no data sold or shared with advertisers. Analytics cookies do not load at all until you accept them.
2. What we set
| Category | Purpose | Consent needed |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Security, load balancing, and remembering your cookie choice
(iso42001-cookie-choice, stored in your browser's local storage). |
No — the site cannot work without these |
| Analytics | Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*), with IP anonymisation.
Tells us which pages people actually find useful. |
Yes — blocked until you accept |
| Functional | Remembering that you dismissed the promotional bar. | No |
| Advertising | None. We run no advertising or remarketing tags. | — |
3. How consent works here
We use Google Consent Mode with every non-essential category set to
denied before any tag loads. If you choose "Essential only", analytics
storage stays denied and no analytics cookies are written. If you accept, analytics
storage is granted for this browser until you change it.
4. Changing your mind
Clear this site's data in your browser settings and the banner will appear again on your next visit. You can also block or delete cookies entirely in your browser; the site will continue to work. If you would rather ask us, email hello@iso42001toolkit.com.
5. Third parties
Two third parties can receive data when you interact with specific features: Google Analytics (only after you accept analytics) and Stripe (only when you begin a checkout; Stripe sets its own cookies for fraud prevention on its own domain). Payment card details never touch our servers.
6. Changes
If we add a cookie category, we will update this notice and ask for consent again where the law requires it. Material changes are dated at the top of this page.
